However, blue had the lowest median mobile multi-server latency at 191 ms, while Douala emerged as the city with the fastest median mobile download speed at 15.51 Mbps among Cameroon’s most populous cities.
Ethiopia: Safaricom stood out as the fastest mobile operator in Ethiopia during Q2 2023 with a median download speed of 35.19 Mbps. Safaricom also achieved the lowest median mobile multi-server latency at 42 ms and the highest Consistency rate of 89.4%. Among Ethiopia’s most populous cities, Gondar recorded the fastest median mobile download speed at 61.22 Mbps.
Tanzania: Q2 2023 did not have any clear winners for the fastest mobile or fixed broadband in Tanzania. However, Maisha Broadband achieved the lowest median multi-server latency in the country at 14 ms. In terms of cities, Dar es Salaam had the fastest median mobile download speed at 26.33 Mbps, while Mbeya led in the median fixed download speed category with 21.32 Mbps.

Argentina: During Q2 2023, Personal was the top-performing mobile operator in Argentina with the fastest median download speed at 35.05 Mbps and the lowest mobile multi-server latency at 38 ms. In the fixed broadband market, Movistar took the lead with the fastest median download speed of 98.37 Mbps and the lowest multi-server latency at 12 ms. Buenos Aires had the fastest download speeds across both mobile and fixed broadband networks among Argentina’s most populous cities.
Belize: Q2 2023 saw Digi as the fastest mobile operator in Belize, achieving the highest median download and upload speeds of 17.61 Mbps and 9.88 Mbps, respectively. Rogers, on the other hand, achieved the fastest median mobile upload speed at 13.29 Mbps and the highest Consistency rate of 84.7%. Bell pure fibre proved to be the fastest fixed broadband provider with median download and upload speeds of 277.24 Mbps and 235.27 Mbps, respectively. St. John’s and Fredericton recorded the fastest median mobile and fixed download speeds, respectively, among Canada’s most populous cities.
Colombia: Movistar was the fastest fixed broadband provider in Colombia during Q2 2023, with a median download speed of 161.28 Mbps. ETB achieved the lowest median multi-server latency over fixed broadband at 8 ms. Cartagena recorded the fastest median fixed download speed among Colombia’s most populous cities, reaching 109.01 Mbps.
Costa Rica: Claro dominated the mobile operator segment in Costa Rica during Q2 2023, with the fastest median download and upload speeds at 51.88 Mbps and 12.56 Mbps, respectively. Liberty achieved the lowest mobile multi-server latency at 34 ms and the highest Consistency rate of 79.7%. For fixed broadband, Metrocom outperformed other providers with a median download speed of 192.00 Mbps and an upload speed of 143.94 Mbps.
Dominican Republic: Claro emerged as the fastest mobile operator in the Dominican Republic during Q2 2023, achieving the highest median download and upload speeds at 30.60 Mbps and 8.70 Mbps, respectively. Ecuador: In Q2 2023, CNT took the lead as the fastest mobile operator in Ecuador, recording a median download speed of 28.45 Mbps. It also achieved the highest Consistency rate of 81.5%. Movistar registered the lowest median multi-server latency in Ecuador at 39 ms. For fixed broadband, Netlife was the fastest with a median download speed of 78.36 Mbps.
El Salvador: Claro dominated the mobile operator segment in El Salvador during Q2 2023, boasting the highest median download and upload speeds at 42.00 Mbps and 15.42 Mbps, respectively. Movistar recorded the lowest median multi-server latency in El Salvador at 65 ms. Cable Color delivered the fastest median fixed download speed (51.14 Mbps), upload speed (47.58 Mbps), and the lowest median multi-server latency (35 ms).
Guatemala: Claro took the lead as the fastest mobile operator in Guatemala during Q2 2023, achieving a median download speed of 34.67 Mbps and a median upload speed of 20.68 Mbps. Claro also secured the highest Consistency rate, with 84.4% of results showing at least a 5 Mbps minimum download speed and 1 Mbps minimum upload speed. For fixed broadband, Claro was the fastest with a median download speed of 40.60 Mbps, while Cable Color led in fixed upload performance with 26.85 Mbps. Guyana: ENet emerged as the top-performing operator in Guyana during Q2 2023, achieving a median mobile download and upload speed of 67.58 Mbps and 20.92 Mbps, respectively. For fixed broadband, ENet also led the way with a median download and upload speed of 62.40 Mbps and 39.66 Mbps, respectively. ENet achieved the lowest median multi-server latency across both mobile and fixed networks.
Haiti: Digicel dominated the mobile operator segment in Haiti during Q2 2023, recording a median mobile download speed of 10.53 Mbps and a median upload speed of 6.99 Mbps. SpaceX Starlink outperformed other providers in the fixed broadband market with the fastest median download speed of 60.24 Mbps. Natcom achieved the fastest median fixed upload speeds (17.76 Mbps) and the lowest median fixed multi-server latency at 32 ms.
